Curriculum and Creativity
17 – 19 May 2011 the National Institute for Education organized the study visit, “Curriculum and Creativity”, that is listed in the catalogue of the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training. Fourteen participants from the various fields of educational management and schools took part in the study visit: Belgium, Finland, Croatia, Germany, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Italy, Turkey and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The three day programme included: the exchange of information and providing good practice in the development of curriculum, the implementation of innovative methods in developing pupils’ creativity, visiting of schools and meeting teachers, a panel discussion with experts from the field of education, a welcome by the Mayor of Bratislava Mr. Milan Ftáčnik and a discussion about problemacy of education.
